Lawrence Ewaldt's obituary (below) states he was buried in Glen Haven Memorial Park. However, Glen Haven was completely photographed by another Find A Grave member two years ago and no headstone for Lawrence Ewaldt is in their collection of photos. The cemetery office could find no record of him being buried there, either.

I found and photographed headstones for Lawrence and Gerene in the Garden of Christus section of Highland Memory Gardens. This headstone is NOT in Glen Haven.

Note: Gerene was buried in Jacksonville National Cemetery with her second husband, so her marker here is a cenotaph

Word has been received here of the death of Lawrence W. Ewaldt, 52, of Orlando, Fla., a Marinette native, who died in Orlando on Feb 16. Mr. Ewaldt was a cabinet maker and carpenter. Survivors include his widow, the former Gerene Gaugh, daughter of Mrs. George Gaugh of Menominee; four sons, Larry W. of Boulder, Colo; James of Oakland, Calif; and Michael D. and Jeffery A. both of Orlando; four daughters, Mrs. Jackie Malsam, Livermore, Calif, Mrs. Joann Bennett and Mrs. Lianne Beasley, both of Oakland, Calif., and Miss Leslie Ewaldt of Livermore, Calif.; his father, Frank Ewaldt, Sr. of Menominee; five brothers, Frank and Donald, both of Menominee, Joseph of Marinette, Wally of Corpus Christi, Tex., and Clarence of Port Charlotte, Fla. and 12 grandchildren. Burial was in Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, Orlando, Fla.
