A dispatch in the Buffalo Courier this morning from Sharon, PA says "On account of melancholia from continued ill health, aged 55 years, committed suicide today by hanging himself with a bed sheet. He left a note to his wife stating that he did not think he would be cured and that as he was a burden to his family he had decided to end his existence. The suicide was deliberately planned and he killed himself during the absence of his wife and daughter. He came to Sharon last September from Warsaw, NY. He was 55 years of age and had been a helpless invalid from rheumatism for several years, not able to go about except in a wheeled chair, his hands also being badly crippled from rheumatism. Mr. and Mrs. Brigham and their daughter went from Warsaw to Conneaut, Ohio, about 2 years ago and from there to Sharon, Pa., in September last.
