He was a member of the Church of Christ. Was retired from Raybests in Crawfordsville, Indiana. A 1959 graduate of Tompkinsville High School, where He led his Basketball Team to The State Championship His Senior Year, where they were state runners up. He honorably served His Country in the United States Army during the Viet Nam Era., He was an Avid Sports Fan , His Favorite Team being the Kentucky Wildcats.
SURVIVORS: A Sister, Edith Mae Bartley Hurt, A Sister-In-Law, Odell Bridges Bartley, Ten Nieces and Nephews and Several Great-Nieces and Nephews.
PREDECEASED: Other than His Parents, His Two Brothers, Esmond Bartley, Paul Bartley and an Infant Sister, Pamela Sue Bartley.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A .M. Thursday January 25, 2018 at the Indiana Veterans Home, With; Brad Phillips, Officiating. Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on January 29, 2018 in the Monroe County Memorial Lawn, Rex Bartley will Officiate. Burial will follow.
