"Mrs. Mabel K. Rye, wife of Aaron N Rye, 74, of 116 W. Donegal St., Mount Joy, died at 5:45 p.m. Thursday after an illness of several years.
She was born in Wrightsville, a daughter of the late William and Matilda Keller Fry[sic].
Mrs. Rye was a resident of Mount Joy for 55 years. She was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical United Brethren Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mildred, wife of Edward G. Reese, Lititz, five grandchildren and one great grandchild."
