H.W. Lawson May 31, 1924 - April 6, 2005 Mr. H.W. Lawson, age eighty years, of Fairland, Oklahoma, a retired truck driver, departed this life on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 in the Freeman Hospital East in Joplin, Missouri. H.W. was born May 31, 1924 in Purcell, Oklahoma to the late George Alfred and Mary Virginia (Wright) Lawson. He lived most of his life in the state of Arizona before moving to Southwest City, Missouri in 1994. H.W. accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior early in his life and was baptized in Ft. Sumner, New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Robert D. Lawson; a brother, Lonnie Lawson; and a sister, Mary Lois Robison. H.W. is survived a daughter, Sondra Anderson and husband Jack of Fairland, Oklahoma; s son, H.W. Lawson, Jr. and wife Kathy of Yuma, Arizona; twelve grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; three sisters, Ruthann Rumbaugh of Joplin, Missouri, Lavada Hooper of Phoenix, Arizona, and Juanita Buckelew of Elephantbute, New Mexico; as well as a host of other family and friends.
