Pauline "Paula" Wilds was born in Passau, Germany. She had lived in Joplin since 1955. She was of the Catholic faith. While in Germany, she was a sales clerk and a telephone operator. She was employed by Safeway Bakery in Joplin. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother who will be missed very much.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert Schwab, and her second husband, Marion A. "Mike" Wilds; her parents, Max and Carolina (Pauli) Schwarzmeier; and a sister, Ingeborg.
She is survived by two sons, Herbert Schwab and his wife, Juanita of Fairfax Station, VA; and Marion A. "Bill" Wilds, Jr. of Joplin; two daughters, Dorothy Ogier, Joplin, and Elisabeth and Larry Henning, of Carthage, MO; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She will rest in peace with her husband, Marion, at the Springfield National Cemetery, Springfield, MO.
