Funeral arrangements are pending at McCormick Funeral Home in Blooming Grove for Mrs. Myrtle Carroll, 85, a long time resident of Blooming Grove who died at 7 a.m. Thursday in Evergreen Nursing Home in Corsicana after a long illness.
Mrs. Carroll was born in Arkansas Jan. 24, 1886 and moved to Blooming Grove at an early age,.
Her husband, Ben Carroll, preceded her in death in 1949.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Blooming Grove.
She is survived by two sons, Bud Carroll of Palestine and Tom Warren of Longview; two daughters, Mrs. Jim Fuller and Mrs. Jim Hollingsworth of Blooming Grove; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
