Ernest, 98, of Albion and formerly of Marshall passed away peacefully February 2, 2018, at home in the loving care of his family. He was the son of Otto and Elsie (Waterworth) Agy.

On December 22, 1941, he married Josephine Root of Plainwell, MI. Ernest worked as a skilled Carpenter for many years around MI before retiring in 1983.

Ernest was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Marshall. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather.

Ernest always enjoyed in his spare time woodworking, coloring and reading books. He especially loved his dog “Sugar”.

He is survived by his children Daniel (Anita) Agy of Otsego, Kenneth (Diana) Agy of Marshall, Pam Hershberger of Albion, Kathy (Larry) Topp of Marshall, 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Ernest was preceded in death by his wife Josephine and sisters Martha Jean Bell and Ellen Falkenstein.

Funeral Service was on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the funeral home with his son-in-law, Larry Topp Officiating. Interment followed at the Plainwell Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be shared with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
