Terry "Sputnik" McDonald, age 60, of Cumberland, Kentucky, husband of Karla Marlene Boggs McDonald and son of Charletta McDonald Sumner, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 in Corbin, Kentucky. He was born March 8, 1957 in Oneida, TN. Terry was a self-employed horse exerciser and groomer who enjoyed playing golf in his free time. He is preceded in death by his mother: Charletta McDonald Sumner, his brothers: Lyle Craig McDonald, Michael Jay McDonald, and sister: Sheri Kay McDonald. He is survived by his wife: Karla Marlene Boggs McDonald, his daughter: Bethany Morgan of Somerset, brothers: Mark Sumner and wife Stephanie of Marshes Siding, Jeffrey Wayne McDonald of Revelo, sister: Marlo Sumner of Marshes Siding, grand-children: Madison and Brynn Morgan. Services for Terry "Sputnik" McDonald will be held Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 8:00 PM in the chapel of the McCreary County Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 6:00 PM until time for services. McCreary County funeral home entrusted with the arrangements for Terry Sputnik McDonald.
