Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late LeRoy and Marie Loveland. He was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and the Williamsport Technical School, where he studied to be a draftsman. Upon graduation, he worked for the Gentex Corp., Ingersoll Rand and later worked as a night auditor. He was of the Methodist faith.
Also surviving are brothers, LeRoy Loveland and his wife, Marie, of Florida; and Fred Loveland and his wife, Sandy, of South Carolina; his daughter-in-law, Renee Loveland, of Waymart; grandchildren, Jared and Mikayla; nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his beloved children, Margaret Marie and Brian J. Loveland.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the James Wilson Funeral Home, 143 Gravity Road, Lake Ariel, officiated by the Rev. Patricia Lee. Interment, Forest Hill Cemetery, Dunmore.
