He proudly served his Country in the United States Army. Leo worked for the United States Postal Service in Milwaukee, WI for 38 years. He retired to the Greenwoods area and remodeled the family home. Leo enjoyed the outdoors and especially loved watching the deer. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
Leo is survived by his siblings: Ronald Schmidt of Wallace, MI; Irene Dishneau of Stephenson, MI and Regina Newlin of Port Washington, WI; nieces and nephews.
Leo was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Richard, Clarice, Joseph, Wayne, Wes, August and Carol.
Family will receive friends at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Birch Creek on Thursday February 15, 2018 from 2:00 pm until time of Funeral Mass at 4:00 pm with Father Michael Ocran officiating. Burial will be in Birch Creek Cemetery in the spring with Military Honors.
