Agnes P. Anderson, born June 19, 1936, residing in Knoxville, Tennessee was called home to be with her Lord and Savior at the age of 79 on Thursday, November 19, 2015.

She graduated from Fleming Neon High School, Neon Kentucky; Tennessee School of Beauty, and Knoxville Business College. Agnes was owner-operator of South Knoxville Home Improvement and an active member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Curtis L. Anderson, Sr.; parents, Lankford and Vesta Presnell; and sister, Eva Day.

Agnes is survived by her daughter, Melinda Anderson-Nelson; son, Curtis L. Anderson, Jr. (Terri Towe); grandchildren: Courtney (Chris) Nelson-Breeden, Shawn T. Nelson, and Ashley N. Anderson; great-grandson, Christopher Curtis Breeden; siblings, L.C. and Lankey Presnell; and her special companion, Max.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the ICU staff at UT Hospital for their unwavering care, love, and support.

Family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Hillcrest United Methodist Church with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM, Dr. Pat Polis and Rev. Richard Richter officiating. Family and friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home at 9:45 AM Tuesday to go in procession to Berry Highland South Cemetery for a 10:30 AM interment service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
