Mrs. Adella Allen Phillips, widow of Albert C. Phillips died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Fancher on Friday, Nov. 12th, aged 80 years. Mrs. Phillips was born in the town of Gainesville, and was the daughter of Abram and Nancy Lewis Allen. At the age of 18 she was married to Mr. Albert C. Phillips and came to Warsaw to reside, and has made Warsaw her home since that time. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Lillian Fancher, one brother, Danforth Allen of Mansfield, Pa., two sisters, Mrs. Libbie Gaylord of Machias, N.Y., and Mrs. Nancy Osgood of Franklinville, N.Y., six grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Monday, Nov. 16th at 2:30 pm from the First Baptist church in this village, Rev. R. E. Gould of Gouverneur, N.Y. officiating. Interment was made in Warsaw cemetery.
