Michael was a United States Air Force veteran. He retired as a Supervisor from Huntsman.
Survivors include his wife, JoLynn DeCoux of Port Neches; son, Kent DeCoux and his wife, Marla; daughter, Monique Clark, all of Nederland; siblings, Theresa Messer of Port Arthur, George DeCoux of Gulf Port, Mississippi, and Pat DeCoux of Bethel, Pennsylvania; and grandchildren, Cody Clark, Celsea Clark, and Landry DeCoux.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joseph DeCoux; and sister, Barbara Losey.
A gathering of Mr. DeCoux’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited 6:00 p.m., Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 23, 2018, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue, Nederland, with his entombment following at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
