Mrs. Susie Ann Metz [sic] Babicky, 69, of 1220 N. Patton Ave., died at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, 1966, at St. John's Hospital where she had been a medical patient for two weeks following an illness of two years.
A resident of Springfield her entire life, Mrs. Babicky was the daughter of Henry L. and Catherine Bender Metz.
Her husband, Stephen, died Sept. 7, 1965.
Mrs. Babicky was a member of Third Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are one brother, Fred Metz [sic], of Springfield; one sister, Mrs. Vinie Brown, of Springfield; two step-sons, Thomas and Stephen Babicky, both of Springfield; three step-daughters, Miss Cecelia Babicky, Mrs. Marie Barton and Mrs. Helen Lingren, all of Springfield.
Services were at Kirlin and Egan Funeral Home.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
