Lawrence Y. Sherman Metz [sic], 26, died suddenly yesterday at his residence. He apparently had attempted to arise from his bed and fell to the floor dead. He was employed as a maintenance man in the Illinois building by the C.I.P.S. Co.
Metz is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry L. [Mary K. Bender] Metz; two brothers, Frank, Lancaster, Pa., and Fred, city; three sisters, Mrs. Susie Babicky, Mrs. Rose Truitt and Mrs. Vinnie Brown, all of this city.
Memorial services at the residence and burial in Oak Ridge cemetery.
