Emogene Drain Reynolds, 97, of Parkersburg passed away February 25, 2018 at Worthington Manor.

She was born in Parkersburg, WV, October 19, 1920, one of nine children of the late George K. and Lettie Violetta Jackson Drain.

Emogene graduated from Parkersburg High School with the Class of 1938 and shortly after high school, started working for Corning Glass where she worked for forty years, retiring in 1982. She had been active with the Retirees Club at Corning and Stevenson United Methodist Church until health issues interfered. She had been in a nursing facility for the past seventeen years, spending most of that time at Worthington Manor.

Emogene was the last surviving member of her siblings and is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other extended family members.

In addition to her parents, Emogene was preceded in death by her husband Richard Reynolds, sisters Violet Taylor, Irene Moore, Ruth Roan, Isodine Alkire (her twin) and brothers Earl, Clifford, George and William Drain.

A graveside service will be 11:00 am Thursday at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
