A daughter of the late Albert "Prince" and Fannie Conley Pace, she was a homemaker and gardener and a member of Sciotodale Freewill Baptist Church.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Douglas Bailey, whom she married on March 13, 1925 in Magoffin County, KY.

She is survived by four daughters and two sons; Lillie Williams, Faye Woodrum, Fannie Castle and Betty Jane Swick, Charles Bailey, and Wallace Bailey; three sisters, Alberta Williams, Sarah Mason, and Bessie Daniels; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
