Shawnee resident Sue Emma Sisson-Reed died Friday, March 30, in Oklahoma City at the age of 77.
She was born Jan. 5, 1930, in Oklahoma City to Cleveland Russell and Viola (Snell) Allred.
She graduated from Noble High School and attended Oklahoma Baptist University. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Dale.
She was a Public Accountant for 46 years. She liked to visit with her customers and always had a joke or two for them. She liked to travel and visit family and she always liked to bake.
Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and first husband, Carlos Sisson.
Surviors include her husband of 10 years, Gene Reed; daughters, Nita and husband, Les Coker, and Pattie Sisson; son, Michael and wife, Jackie Sisson; step-sons, Kenneth Reed and Justin and wife, Jemalu Reed; step-daughters, Teresa and husband, Gary Thompson and Melia and husband, Bruce Porter; four brothers; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rock Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Parker officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
