Agnes Lenore Wood Rape

Agnes Rape, 93, of Burleson passed away June 28, 2017 in Ft. Worth. She was born April 18, 1924 in Hill County Texas, the daughter of B.W. and Mona Bell (Lowe) Wood.

She grew up on a farm in the Woodbury community and later moved to Tarrant County. On November 26, 1946 she was united in marriage to Earl Dean Rape and he preceded her in death on June 26, 2004.

During her working years she worked for Williamson Dickey in downtown Ft. Worth and later when her children got a little older and began to leave home she worked for Everman ISD in the cafeteria.

Agnes enjoyed gardening, crocheting, making quilts, cooking and baking cookies. She also enjoyed sitting in the floor with her grand children and playing games.

Also preceding her in death were her parents and 10 siblings. Survivors include her children, Bobby Dean Rape, Danny Earl Rape and LaDonna Jean Williamson, 13 grand children; 17 great-grand children and 3 great-great grand children along with other family members.

Funeral services will be held July 3, 2017 in Hillsboro. Burial will follow at Peoria Cemetery.
