James Frank Wood Sr., 90, owner of a small-engine repair shop, passed away Friday, Oct. 24, 2003, at a local hospital.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Baumgardner Chapel, Fort Worth, the Rev. Earl Griffin officiating. Burial: 3 p.m. Tuesday at Ridge Park Cemetery, Hillsboro. Visitation: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Baumgardner Funeral Home, Fort Worth.

James was born March 9, 1913, in Hill County to Jockey and Mona Lowe Wood.

Survivors: Wife of 69 years, Dessie Lee Wood; son, James F. Wood Jr. and wife, Linda; daughter, Sandra O'Shea and husband, Tom, all of Fort Worth; brother, Dan Wood and wife, Helen of Crowley; sisters, Agnes Rape and husband, Earldeen of Burleson, Lucy Estes and husband, Kenneth of Hill County and Charlie Neil of Burleson; grandchildren, Jim, John, Tina, Buddy and Wes; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
