Anthony "Toney" Curcio, of 631 Perry Court, Hazleton, died Saturday at the Hazleton General Hospital. Born in Drifton, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Pauro) Curcio and resided in this area all of his life. He was a member of Most Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton, the Hazleton Lions Club, and a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus and a 50-year 50-year 50-year member of that organization. Prior to retiring, he was a local plumbing and heating contractor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Maurice and Leo. Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Franzosa; sisters, Angeline' Ferris, and Jennie Odem, both of Orlando, Fla.; several several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Monday Monday at 11 a.m. from the Fierro Funeral Home, 26 E. Second St., Hazleton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Most Precious Blood R.C. Church at 11:30 a.m. Interment will take place in Most Precious Blood Cemetery. Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m.
