Helen June "Juney" Avgerinos
May 11, 1925 - July 3, 2006

Helen June "Juney" Avgerinos went to be with her Lord on July 3, 2006 after a brief illness. June was born on May 11, 1925, to Richard and Agnes Hutchings in Chicago, Il. June spent most of her life in the Chicago area. June married Ted Avgerinos on June 8, 1945 and their union produced four children, one of which was killed in action during the Viet Nam War. June worked for many years as a Long Distance operator for Illinois Bell. She also worked as a secretary for a family owned business, Merchants Towel Service. June actively volunteered with St. Jude the Apostle Church in South Holland, Il for many years. June and Ted Moved to Colorado Springs in their Golden Years and fell in loce with the Colorado Mountains and Sunshine. June leaves behine to cherich her memories her sons: Thomas Michael, and Ted Avgerinos; and daughter Maureen Ann Avgerinos; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years and her oldest son George Richard. A memorial service will be held Saturday July 8, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2021 W. Pikes Peak Ave., Colorado Springs, CO.
