Funeral services were held Friday at 10:30 AM at the LaSalle Church of Christ with Minister Malcolm Smith officiating. Burial was in the LaSalle Cemetery under the direction of Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home.
Born December 27, 1873, in Robertson County, Mr. Frensley had resided most of his life in Limestone County. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Frensley took an avid interest in public affairs and in politics. He loved people and was a frequent visitor at Lost Prairie and LaSalle Memorials. He was a visitor in Groesbeck frequently and spent the day here Saturday, May 9, attending the Fiddle Festival.
He delighted in telling his age and hearing ejaculations from his listeners that he looked 20 or 25 years younger than his actual age.
Mr. Frensley at one time was a courthouse employee being associated with the Tax Collector's office. He also was bookkeeper for the Walker Lumber Company in Groesbeck for a number of years. He had been residing in Mexia for the past several years.
He is survived by three sons, Robert E. Frensley and George A. Frensley, both of Port Arthur and W. W. Frensley of Mexia; four daughters, Mrs. W. H. Mabry, Mrs. Scott Herrin, Mrs. J. R. Hall and Mrs. F. H. Ciccosanti, all of Port Arthur; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
