Richard Coborn, age 63 of Centerville, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Golden Age Care Center in Centerville.
Richard was born on April 5, 1954 in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Coborn.
Richard loved to sing, especially Gospel hymns. He enjoyed fishing, boating, riding horses and playing horse shoes. He attended the Church of the Nazarene in Centerville.
Richard is survived by his step father, Walter Schwager of Centerville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Coborn; and his step mother, Dorothy Schwager.
Funeral Services will be held at 11AM, Monday, March 19, 2018 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with Pastor Dennis Doud officiating. Burial will follow at Haines Cemetery, north of Centerville. A visitation will take place Monday, March 19, 2018 from 10-11AM. Memorials have been established to either the Golden Age Care Center or Haines Cemetery, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
