A.J. Guy-- born November 26, 1923 in Aquilla, AL and a resident of Chickasaw, AL for 28 years died at home on Friday, April 11, 2003 . A.J. was a member of Christian Fellowship Church. Retired from Scott Paper Company after 22 years of service and he was owner of Guy's Battery Shop. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, four children, five brothers, two sisters and one grandchild. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Christine Guy, four sons, Jimmy Guy, Sr., Jerome (Bonnie) Guy, Jerry Healey and Larry (Indy) Herlong, nine daughters Genell Garner, Frances (Harmon) Sumrall, Nancy Lofton, Linda Parker, Hazel (Ronnie) Overstreet, Donna Herlong, Deborah (Paul) Stewart, Wanda Hopkins and Jan (Ed) Clark, one devoted sister Ethelene Cox of Waycross, GA. 47 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren, a devoted friend Albert Howard and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 6pm-9pm Monday April 14, 2003 at Christian Fellowship Church in Chickasaw, AL. Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at Christian Fellowship Church. Interment will be in Sand Ridge Church of God Cemetery in Red Creek, AL. Funeral arrangements by FREEMAN FUNERAL HOME, Citronelle, AL. Published in the Mobile Register, Mobile, Alabama on 4/13/2003
