Alexandros Papamatheakis, 76 of Glendale, Az passed away Thursday, April 5, 2007 with his loving family by his side. Alexandros was born in Heraklion Crete, Greece on April 18, 1930. He moved to the United States in 1991 after his retirement. He is survived by his dear wife Maria; his devoted children Michael, Kathy, Gregory, Emmanuel, Elpitha, Nick, Efrosini, John, Eirini, Tony and Athena; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Alexandros will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Visitation will by on Monday, April 9, 2007 from 5:00 PM to 8:00PM at Phoenix Memorial Mortuary, 200 W. Beardsley Rd., Phoenix, AZ. A funeral will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Saint Haralamobs Greek Orthodox Church, 10320 N. 84th Ave, Peoria, AZ. Burial will follow at Phoenix Memorial Park.
