Alice was born April 22, 1920, in Gackle, N.D., to Gust and Lydia (Reisc) Blaskowsky. At the age of 17, she moved with her family to Olympia, where she finished her education. During World War II she worked at Fort Lewis near Tacoma, where she met Walter Mallory.

They were married July 14, 1944, at St. Petersburg, Va. After her husband's military discharge in 1946, they moved to Idaho. She remained an Idaho resident until her death.

When her children were growing, she was active in youth activities. She enjoyed gardening, golfing and playing cards.
