April 25, 1906
Note: It appears this was Frank's first wife, unable to find her first name.
Mrs. Kelling, beloved wife of Frank Kelling and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Menzel, died at her home in the valley last Thursday, after an illness of several weeks' duration. Deceased was a young lady of high esteem to all acquaintances, which was attested more strongly than words can relate by the large turnout to the funeral, which occurred on Sunday last at 10 a.m., when over one hundred vehicles made up the funeral cortege that followed the remains to the Lutheran cemetery, where the interment took place. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Carl Lange of the Lutheran church. We join with this community in extending condolence to the surviving relatives in their hour of dark despair.
