Mrs. Ada Strothers Keister, 64, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. John Parkhurst at Phillips at 2:45 o'clock Sunday morning, following a lengthy illness.
Born March 20, 1876, in Pendleton county, West Virginia, Mrs. Keister is survived by ten children.
They are: Mrs. Ezra Adams of Cox Mills, W. Va., C.D. Keister of Borger, Mrs. Hugh Stout of Alum Bridge, W. Va., Willis Keister of Akron, O., Mrs. R.L. Lambert of Dallas, Mrs. John C. Parkhurst of Phillips, Mrs. Walter Dikes of Manhattan Beach, Calif., Argle Kester [sic] of Clarksburg, W. Va., and Ronzil W. Keister of Manhattan Beach, O.G. Keister of Clarksburg, W.Va.
A sister, Mrs. Cora Keister of New Milton, W. Va., 22 grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock in the Phillips Methodist church, with the Rev. E.J. Reaves officiating. Interment will be in Amarillo, under direction of the Powell Funeral Home of Borger.

Last respects were paid Mrs. Ada Strothers Keister, 64, in funeral services this afternoon at 1 o'clock in the Phillips Methodist church, with the Rev. E.J. Reaves officiating.
Mrs. Keister died Sunday morning in the home of a daughter, Mrs. John Parkhurst at Phillips, following a lengthy illness.
Pallbearers were R.L. Lindsey, Ellis Riddle, George McCarroll, David Wilson, Vesper Perry and Milo Stamps.
Flower girls were Mrs. Arthur Sweeney, Mrs. E.F. Sharp, Mrs. Jack Knight, Mrs. Ruchford Duncan, Mrs. Henry Everhart and Miss Ann Rousten.
Besides Mrs. Parkhurst and another Borgan, C.D. Keister, Mrs. Keister is survived by eight other children, a sister, 22 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Interment was in Amarillo under direction of the Powell Funeral Home.
