Retired Police Officer Dies
Royal W. Pickett, 57, of 2114 12th Ave. S., died yesterday in hospital. He was a retired Seattle police patrolman.
Funeral services will be at 1 o'clock Friday in the Butterworth Chapel. Cremation will follow.
Mr. Pickett worked 25 years for the Police Department before he retired last July.
Born in Finlayson, Minn., he had lived here 40 years.
Mr. Pickett was a member of the Police Drill Team for 16 years.
Surviving are his wife, Aimee E.; a sister Mrs. Orpha Lidstrom, and two brothers, Lester E. and Dale E. Pickett, all of Seattle.
