For a period of time she taught at the Lidstrom Schoolhouse, Aitkin Co., Minnesota. She met Vern Lidstrom and married him December 24,1918, in Aitkin Co., Minnesota.
Their children are: Kenneth, Robert, Lois (Johnson).
The family lived in Crow Wing Co., Minnesota, before moving to Seattle, Washington in the 1920's, as did Orpha's parents and siblings.
Orpha lived in Seattle the remainder of her life.
