Mrs. Lizzie Baarnes of 627 Whelan died at Shattuck, Okla., at 2 o'clock this morning, where she was visiting. Definite particulars as to her death are unavailable as a short message to Lou Dodds, a newphew, is all that is known. She was the widow of W. R. Barnes who died about two years ago. Mrs. Barnes was about sixty-five years of age and had been in poor health since the death of her husband. The body will be brought to Cherryvale tomorrow and the funeral will be held at the residence.

The funeral of Mrs. Lizzie Barnes who died Friday at Shattuck, Okla., was held yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock from her home, 627 Whelan Street, by Rev. W. H. Mulvaney of the Methodist church. The house was filled with sorrowing friends and neighbors. The pall bearers were G. D. Stewart, H. B. Mountain, T. E. Stout, George Moraign, B. F. Brill and C. C. Kinman. Burial was in Fairview cemetery beside her husband, who died about two years ago.
