Services for Lloyd Alvin Beeghley, 95, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Willow Springs Old German Baptist Brethren Meeting House. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pleasant Grove.
Mr. Beeghley died Sunday, April 8, 2007, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 28, 1911, in rural Douglas County, the son of Daniel and Christena Flory Beeghley. He was a lifelong resident of Douglas County.
Mr. Beeghley farmed the same land for 66 years before he retired and moved to Baldwin City. He was a member of Willow Springs Old German Baptist Brethren Church.
He married Vera E. Crumpacker on April 7, 1937, near Centropolis. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Norman, Troy, Ohio; a daughter, Deanna Davison, Redmond, Ore.; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
