Dorothy Mae Joslin, 68, was the daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy Stafford Abare. Dorothy moved to Boston, MA, where she lived for several years until returning to the local area in 1986. Dorothy was employed with Price Chopper Supermarkets and later Hannaford Supermarkets for many years until her retirement. She also volunteered at Bethesda House of Schenectady for several years.
Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her longtime companion, Raffaele Califano , who passed away in 2013. Survivors include her three children; two grandsons; four sisters, Constance Lezette, Carol Mcintyre, Anne Bowie and Donna Brucculeri; a brother, Charles Abare; and several nieces and nephews.
