Rev. James "Jim" D. Costello, born August 19, 1945, passed away peacefully at Tennova Regional Hospital in Jackson, TN, on November 8, 2016, at the age of 71.

He was preceded in death by parents Narsico Costello and Frances Austin Campbell; stepfather, Howard Campbell; and sister, Judy C. Wilkerson.

He is survived by his wife, Christine Mosier Costello; a brother, Howard C. Durham of Ripley, TN; children: Rev. Nicholas D. Costello and wife Melissa of Rockwall, TX; Christal C. Moore and husband Brad of Mansfield, TX; stepchildren: Brian Horne of Chicago, IL; Joseph Riggsbee of Chicago, IL; Sherry Earnheart of Alamo, TN; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Rev. Costello was raised in Brownsville, TN, graduated from Haywood High School and served in the United States Air Force. He was the Founder and Pastor of Star of Zion Church in Humboldt, TN.

A celebration of his life is scheduled for 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Calvary Baptist Church, 2925 Carriage Lane, Humboldt, TN 38343. Service will be officiated by Rev. Don Williams.
