Mr. Thomas Lamar Thames, 79 went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2018. He was born on February 27, 1939
to William “Pink” Thames and Leona Eitel Thames.
He was a conductor for the Canadian National Railroad, a member of Ruth Baptist Church, and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
He was known by coworkers, friends, and family as “Cuz”.
Preceding him in death were his parents; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Gloria Thames; sons, Andrew Thames and wife, Anita; Alan Thames and wife, Sonya;
daughters, Angela Mercier and husband, Marty; Amy Close and husband, Chris; brother, Joe Thames and sister, Georgie Thames.
He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
