Mrs. Crawford died Wednesday, June 14, at Dakota Midland Hospital in Aberdeen after an extended illness.
The congregation sang "How Great Thou Art," "Because, " and "In The Garden, " accompanied by Mrs. Dennis White, organist.
Pallbearers, all nephews, were Burton Flagtwet, Lambert Mielke, Bert Raap, Charles Raap, Jerry Raap and Tom Raap.
Mrs. Crawford was born to Charles and Amelia Mielke Sept. 24, 1910, at Groton, where she lived through her school years. On Nov. 30, 1939, she married Kenneth Crawford at Salt Lake City, Utah. She was a weather observer for the government in Nevada for about 20 years. She returned to Groton in 1969. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Groton, of the DSCS church group, the Twentieth Century Club, and had been active in church groups in Owyhee, Nev.
Survivors include her widower; one son, John, Reno, Nev.; one daughter, Cindy, at home; four brothers, Roy and Harvey, both of Groton, Harry of Sleepy Eye, Minn., and Clarence, Rapid City; three sisters, Mrs. Lucy Raap of Andover, Mrs. Paul (Cora) Kauffman and Mrs. Louis (Hattie) Krueger of Groton.
Arrangements were by Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chapel.
