Mr. Allred was a retired farmer and cattleman. He had served in the Lincoln County Sheriff's office as a deputy under three former sheriffs, (Little) Earl Smith, Carnie Smith and Bob Case.
Mr. Allred was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He was a Mason, a member of the V.F.W. and Amerian Legion Posts. He was a veteran of World War I.
Mr. Allred is survived by his wife, Mrs. Beatrice Thetford Allred; three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Thelma Alice) Stewart of Brookhaven, Mrs. Carroll (B.B.) Watts, Mrs. Solon H. (Myrtle) Magee of Kenner, La.
Pallbearers were Earl Smith, Bob Case, Carnie Smith, Nelson Case, Garland Smith and Gene Allred. The Rev. James F. Wolfe officiated the rites.
