Roddie Lee Starkey 80, of Ralls passed away April 11, 2018. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday April 16, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Ralls. Burial will follow in the Cone Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. Visitation will be Sunday April 15, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Roddie was born July 4, 1937 in Lubbock County to Roddie and Mary Drake Stone. She married L.T. Starkey on May 16, 1959. She worked in the First Baptist Church nursery for over twenty years and really loved teaching the kids about her Lord and Savior, and she was a member of the glory singers.

She is preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters; Lee Ann Miller of Ralls, Janie Walker of Lubbock, one son Floyd Starkey of Ralls, three brothers; Elmer Stone, Jess Stone, Roy Stone, Two sisters; Lura Meyers, Morine Stillham, Seven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be made to the First Baptist Church nursery.
