Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Barber, age 89, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 in Mobile, Alabama.
Mrs. Barber was a native and life long resident of Lottie, AL. She was a member of the Lottie Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Alex & Ettie Genell Drew, two sisters, Estelle Dean and Jessie James Criswell and one brother, Onas Drew.
She is survived by her three sons, Alex Barber of Lottie, AL, Gregory L. Barber of Atmore, AL and Rocky S. Barber of Bay Minette, AL; one brother, Wilburn Cleo (Mildred) Drew of Pensacola, FL; two sisters, Essie Josey of Atmore, AL and Voncile Drew (Garth) Branch of Atmore, AL; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Malcolm Harrelson officiating.
Burial will follow at the Lottie New Home Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
