Louise Orene Keown, 94, of Bowling Green, passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, in Greenview Regional Hospital at 12:17 p.m.
Louise was born in Warren County on Nov. 28, 1917, and was the daughter of late Charles Edward and Rachel Marie Potter Wilson. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, William Paul Keown Sr.; and son, William Paul Keown Jr.
She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star #80 and Daughters of the Nile. Louise was a very loving Mom and was loved by all who knew her.
She is survived by four daughters, Joyce Hendrick and her husband, Lew, of Louisville, Wanda Harding and her husband, Gilbert, of Decatur, Ala., JoAnn Richards and her husband, Joe, of Bowling Green, and Doris Cummings and her husband, Tom, of Henderson; 14 grandchildren, Tim Richards, Kim Richards, Pam Schumacher, Paula Keown, Mark Keown, Wally Keown, Matt Keown, Sharon Siegle, Viv Hogan, Danny Hendrick, Jimmy Dan Cummings, John Paul Cummings, Donna Garrett and Karen Yarbrough; six great-grandchildren; and one nephew, John Howell of Scottsville.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
