ALBERT COONS DIES ON HIS ARRIVAL AT COLORADO SPRINGS
Had Left City Sunday In Search of Health
Tuberculosis Followed Influenza
A message was received by relatives here last evening announcing the death at Colorado Springs, Colorado, of Albert Coons of this city, who had just arrived there during the morning, where he had gone in search of health, leaving this city Sunday. His illness dates back to a severe attack of influenza, which developed a throat trouble and later tuberculosis.
Albert Coons was the son of William and Mary Coons and was born in this city where he had resided most of his life. He was a printer and Linotype operator by trade.
When four years old, his mother died and for his second wife, William Coons, his father, was united in marriage to Miss Mayme Flynn, who at her husband's death a few years later, took all the responsibility of rearing this young man, showing all the devotion of an own parent.
Albert Coons was married to Miss Grace Forkner {sic} and to them one child, Mary was born. Deceased is survived is survived by his wife and daughter, his step-mother, his grandfather, W.J. Coons and other relatives.
The body will be brought to this city for burial. The time of the arrival of the remains will be announced later.

Coons Funeral Saturday
The funeral of Albert Coons, whose death occurred at Colorado Springs, Colorado, Tuesday, will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Bernard's church. Burial will be at Calvary cemetery.
