Angela Walter Foster, 54, of Jonesboro ascended to Heaven on Friday, April 27, 2018, at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital. She was born in Jonesboro October 1, 1963 to Charles and Magdalene Walter. Angela graduated from Nettleton High School and was a member of Valley View Church of Christ. She loved caring for animals all of her life. Angela had a loving spirit; to know her was to love her.
Angela had a loving spirit; to know her was to love her. She enjoyed talking on the phone and Facebook, collecting Coke memorabilia, and family get-togethers. Angela worked in the medical and retail fields and was a licensed Cosmetologist and a certified taste tester for Kristy Kreme donuts.
Angela over the years lived in Houston, TX, Paragould, AR, San Diego, CA, and Moore, OK, before returning to Jonesboro in 2008.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles “Charlie” Walter of Jonesboro.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Magdalene Walter; 1 brother, Greg Walter and his wife, Cecilia; 1 sister, Kathy Thornton and her husband, Paul, all of Jonesboro; 1 daughter, Kristen Ussery and her husband, Stephen; 1 son, Logan Foster of Paragould; 1 grandson, Aiden McDole; 2 nephews, Brandon Thornton and Logan Alexander; and 3 nieces, Jennifer Walter French, Whitney Faulkner and Stacia Wimberly; and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2018 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Spencer Furby officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home
