Norton T. Steward, 80, of Seward, died Saturday, August 12. He was born at Marcy, Ohio, Feb. 27, 1898. He was a former Hughes Brothers employee, a member of the United Methodist Church, the Odd Fellows Lodge and the Seward Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice, one brother, James of Redwood City, Calif., sisters, Amelia Abbott of Red Cloud and Agnes Strickland of Bard, Calif., nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Wednesday, August 16 (today), at the Wood Brothers Chapel, Seward, the Rev. Charles Gates officiating. Burial will be at the Red Cloud Cemetery, Red Cloud, at 3 p.m.
