Samuel Bayoff was the father-in-law of Michael Ilitch and father of Marian Ilitch, who founded the Little Caesars Pizza chain in Garden City in 1959. Sam was the creator of the unique proprietary spice blend that is still used for all Little Caesars pizza. In the late 2000s, his name and picture was added to the packaging.
