OBIT: Mrs. Canary dies at the home of her dau. Mrs. W.J. White as the result of a stroke of paralysis sustained a week ago. Mrs. Margaret Canary died Tuesday morning at 4:30 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.J. White on West Warren St. She sustained a stroke of paralysis a week ago Sunday from which time she never regained consciousness. Margaret Arthur was born in Scioto County, 78 years ago. On Mar. 18, 1854 she was united in marriage to Adison Canary, who preceeded her in death eight years ago and since that time she made her home with her daughter. Surviving her are six children, Mrs. W.J. White, Celina, Mrs. John Colegrove, Springfield, Mrs. Locasta Arnold, Mrs. Lora Hide, Portsmouth, Armilda Canary, Cincinnati and Dennis Canary, St. Marys. Funeral held Thursday morning at Swamp College, leaving the house at 9 o'clock and burial at Swamp College Cemetery.
