Co K 73rd Indiana Infantry

Henry Bird and Shannon Carr, Co K 73rd Indiana Infantry went MIA at Day's Gap (30 April 1863).

I believe they were taken to Summersville (Somersville), Alabama, as prisoners of war, along with Joshua P Powell, 1st Alabama Cavalry, and subsequently died or were killed by their captors. Two men were re-interred to Marietta National Cemetery in graves N-4507 and N-4510 from Summersville, Alabama, after the war.
