Becky Crowthers, age 48, Pleasanton, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Menorah Medical Center. She was born on April 30, 1970 at Olathe, Kansas the daughter of Billy Joe and Teresa Sajwaj Cox. She graduated from Olathe South High School. She attended Fort Scott Community College where she received her Registered Nurses Degree. She was employed at Shawnee Mission Medical Center for the past fourteen years, working in the stroke unit as well the "Ask a Nurse" department. Becky enjoyed being outside as long as the weather was not extreme. She was a good cook and seamstress. She even made her own scrubs for work. She was preceded in death by her parents. Becky is survived by a daughter Sam Bruner and her wife Brandi, her live in companion, Steve, a brother, Tim Staton and his wife Elisa, two sisters, Michelle Slater and Melanie Staton, two grandchildren, Camryn Harper and Zahra Bruner, a niece, Manon Turpen and three nephews, Nick and Henry Talley and Kamden Staton.

Funeral service will be held 6:30 pm Friday May 18, 2018 at the Schneider Funeral Home and Crematory, Pleasanton Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5pm to service time.
