CARUSO, LUANN (nee RICCI) 60 – of Egg Harbor City, NJ, passed away on April 3, 2014 at Presbyterian Hospital with her loving family at her side. Born on April 24, 1953 in Ventnor City, NJ to Anna and the late Albert E. Ricci, Sr. She spent her early childhood in the Germania Gardens section of Cologne, where she attended the public school system. She was a 1971 graduate of Oakcrest High School, where she was a cheerleader and played softball. She also was a 1974 graduate of ACC where she earned an Associate's Degree in Business. She loved crocheting, cooking and reading, as well as gardening with her mother and knitting with her friend, Mary. She also loved sitting in the sun and going to the beach. Her favorite pastime was sitting at her kitchen table watching the birds in the backyard, especially the hummingbirds and keeping count of how many she attracted. She loved her animals, especially her dogs, Jade and Duke. LuAnn was a Day 1 employee of Bally's Park Place in Atlantic City, NJ where she was a cage manager. She retired after 30 years in 2009. She is survived by her mother, Anna (Deman) Ricci, her husband, John, her daughter, Lauren, her brother, Albert, Jr. (Linda), her mother-in-law, Clara Caruso, her sister-in-law, Claire (Caruso) Kendall (Bill). She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also predeceased by her brother David Ricci. A viewing will be held at Wimberg Funeral Home, 400 Liverpool Avenue, Egg Harbor City, NJ (609) 965-0357 on Tuesday evening, April 8th from 6:00 to 8:00PM. A church visitation will be held at (Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish (St. Nicholas Church), 525 St. Louis Ave., Egg Harbor City, NJ on Wednesday April 9th from 10:00AM to 11:00AM with Mass following at 11AM.
